 Bottles enter the filling areas, where they are counted by optical sensors. They are then locked into position by the pneumatically-operated bottle clamping mechanism, to ensure that bottles are positioned correctly under each filling head. This reduces under- or over-fill. A series of valves descend into the bottles for fast, accurate and consistent filling. Any excess water delivered to a bottle is diverted from the bottle and routed to a collection tank.
The filled bottles are then released from the bottle clamping mechanism and directed to the LC5000 Labeler/Capper/Cap-tightener for processing. Note: The BF5000 Automatic Bottle Filler is available separately from Norland. |
