About Vapor Compression Systems The vapor compression systems produce 1500 gallons (5700 liters) 3,000 gallons (11,340 liters) or 6,000 gallons (22,712 liters) per day and are extremely energy efficient. Norland has successfully designed a system that produces high-quality, distilled water (less than 1 ppm TDS) at the lowest possible cost per gallon.
